Halo Tire Inflator Review: Hub Group Looks for a Partner in Safety and Sustainability
Halo automatic tire inflation (ATI) by Aperia was shown to deliver strong savings and sustainability benefits.
Hub Group is the largest intermodal trucking organization in the United States. With more than 2,500 tractors, Hub specifies Halo to reduce unplanned downtime and operational costs, while increasing safety across their fleet. Hub Group’s tires that were outfitted with the Halo Tire Inflator by Aperia Technologies experienced fewer days of underinflation. Based on a 100-day study, Hub Group estimated they would save $1,400 per truck per year including saving more than 170 gallons of fuel and more than 4,800 pounds of CO2 emissions.
