Aperia Technologies has expanded the capabilities of its Halo Connect i3 tire management system with the addition of a tire tread diagnostics suite and remote tire pressure set point adjustment features. The features are available for a limited number of customers now, and will be rolled out to all Halo Connect i3 users beginning in December.
“We’re giving the fleets peace of mind that their tires are in optimal condition,” said Ralph Dimenna, chief commercial officer for Aperia Technologies. “Tires still represent a large number of the causes for accidents and downtime on the market. Most of that is due to chronic under inflation. The combination of keeping tires properly inflated and now giving them alerts on which tires they need to go check next time that truck comes in for a preventive maintenance check or service can reduce downtime as well.”
