Aperia Technologies Inc. announced new capabilities within its Halo Connect i3 system, including a tire tread diagnostics suite and remote tire pressure set point adjustment.
The company said its tread diagnostics suite provides proactive tire service recommendations by analyzing tread depth data. The system can accept various data inputs, from manual measurements to drive-over readers, which Aperia said is used to forecast wear and recommend service when needed. The company added that a premium option is available with a laser-based handheld 3D tread scanner, which offers advanced maintenance insights by detecting irregular wear, mismatched tires and alignment issues.
